Custom software, built one standard way and handed over as yours.
RautingTech builds portals, internal tools, customer apps and AI features for businesses that want to own their software. Every build is custom, every build runs through the same four steps, and every one is handed over in your name.
DramatisationWhy do custom software projects fail?
Usually because every project is invented from scratch: new steps, new surprises, new invoices. Ours runs the same steps, with the same sign-offs, every time.
You know the next step and what it costs before it starts.
Nothing gets built until the scope is written down and you've signed it. Nothing ships until you've reviewed it on a staging site. And nothing is held back at the end: source, cloud and documentation are already in your name.
Every build runs through the same four steps, and you sign off twice.
Discovery
A 30-minute call for packaged builds, a two-week sprint for larger ones. The scope is written down before anything moves. Signature one.
Design and lock
Screens, data model, AI plan and content. You sign off before a line of production code. Signature two.
Build and wire
Built, connected to your systems, tested and staged where you can review it.
Launch and care
Go-live, a hypercare period, then a care plan, or you take the keys and run it yourself.
What do you own when the build is done?
Everything. Here's the sheet we hand over.
Come back for features without starting over.
New features run through a small version of the same process: a scoped request, a fixed price, sign-off, delivery.
Take the keys
Your team runs it with the docs and runbook. Call us when you want to.
Included
Care plan
Monitoring, updates and a monthly review, with small fixes included.
Monthly, quoted with the build
Feature requests
Scoped and priced per request. Never open-ended hours.

How do you use AI in a build?
Only where it does the job better than a plain rule. When we use it, it's grounded in your own data, logged where your admins can see it, and tested against real questions before every release. It stays off by default wherever it would touch personal information.
What do you build with?
Usually the Microsoft stack your team already runs: Azure, Microsoft Entra ID, Power Platform where it fits, and standard web technology. Picked so your team can maintain it.
How long does a build take?
Packaged builds run in weeks. Larger builds are scoped in a two-week discovery sprint, and you get a written timeline before you sign.
What if we want to maintain it ourselves?
That's the default. The handover includes the runbook and documentation your team needs, and a care plan is optional.
